CHANGE OF GUARD: NSCDC Nasarawa State Gets New Commander

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command Headquarters received today 10th January, 2024 the newly redeployed State Commandant following the promotion of Commandant Abbas Bappa Muhammed  to the enviable rank of Assistant Commandant General (ACG).

Commandant Ismaila Abdullahi, a seasoned Officer with vast experience, born in the early 60’s in Okene, Kogi State. A graduate of Banking and Finance from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Business Administration and Masters in Business Administration from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

Commandant Ismaila Abdullahi served in Kwara, Niger, Ebonyi and Oyo States as Uniform Accountant, he also served as the Commander In-charge of National Oil-Spill, Detection and Response Agency, (NOSDRA) Abuja.

Until his redeployment, he was the Commandant Water Resources under the Directorate of Critical National Assets and Infrastructure National Headquarters Abuja.

The outgoing State Commandant, Abbas Bappa Muhammed has undoubtedly and unequivocally transformed the State Command to an enviable state, the Command without equivocation is matchless and without equal in the country, he has changed the public narrative and perception of NSCDC in Nasarawa State.

The outgoing State Commandant have left too numerous imprints in the state and has written his name in gold, this the command will forever cherish.

The outgoing State Commandant, now Assistant Commandant General, (ACG) Abbas Bappa Muhammed thanked the Management Staff, Officers and Men of the Command for the utmost cooperation, accorded him, while in the state as this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without their immense support, as this will remain indelible in his heart.
