CG NPS Urges Stakeholders To Review Regulation To Stand The Test of Time.

The Conservator General National Park Service, Dr Ibrahim Goni has urged stakeholders to make useful contributions as it kicks off NPS regulation review.

The CG made the statement on Thursday at the one- day regulation review workshop.

While giving his opening remarks, he emphasized that the policy review is an opportunity to enhance effective and efficient performance of National Park Service.

“The services believes in your expertise and rely on you to review this regulation thoroughly. Please make useful contributions in the course of the review so that it will not only address the present challenges confronting the parks but let it be a document that will stand the test of time”.

Also speaking, Chief Ben Nwobasi, Chairman National Park Service said the review of this act/ regulation has become very necessary because of the challenges confronting our parks recently. We are ever committed to make our contributions to the review of this regulation to stand the test of time.
