CATCH THEM YOUNG: ESV Effa Okim Donates items to Schools, encourages them to Study Estate Management in tertiary institutions

A passionate Estate Surveyor and Valuers, philanthropist and community advocate ESV Effa Imoh Okim recently donated learning and recreational items to schools in Okuni Community in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River State.
ESV Effa Okim who is also an indigene of Okuni community, a social activist and community builder donated 25 sets of 4 seated desk to Community Secondary School Okuni as well as one set of swing each to Gifted Child Academy and Topaz Academy High School all in Okuni.
Speaking while handing over the items, ESV. Effa encouraged the students to aspire to Study Estate Management, as a course in the higher institutions of learning to enable them become Estate Surveys and Valuers (ESVs).
He noted that he had the conviction to return back to his community and help build it and one of the avenues of doing that is impacting on the lives of the indigenes.
According to him, the government cannot provide every amenity we need as humans hence the need for us to collectively do the little we can for the growth and growth of the society.
“I was told of the challenges the schools were facing and I said to myself, I’ll try the best I can to ensure that everyone is happy. This is just the little beginning of better things to come in our community as I’m certain more will come and Olulumo will getting better” he said.
He further enjoined the students to be studious and ensure they come out with good grades as this is the only way to trigger well meaning members of the community to assist them.
