BE AMBASSADORS OF APCON IN YOUR LOCATIONS, OLALEKAN URGES INDUCTEES

Registrar/Chief Executive of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo has urged new members to be Ambassadors of the Council in any location there find themselves by adhering strictly to the Advertising ethics and helping in the implementation of APCON rules and regulations.

Dr Fadolapo made the statement in his remark before administering the Oath of Advertising Practice held at the induction ceremony held at Abuja.

He said although the awareness of APCON has increased with the establishment of more offices and liaison officers targeting all states of the federation, APCON staff cannot cover everywhere in Nigeria.

Theinduction which officially ushered more than 70 new members into the Advertising profession was held on Thursday at Bolton White Hotel, Abuja after a Modified Executive Professional Examinations (MEPE), to accommodate those who have been practicing media in there various establishments.

Inductees which were drawn mainly from the public sector had members the Nigerian Export Free Zone Authority, Nigerian Communication Commission, Petroleum Equalization Fund, Stock Exchange Commission, Federal Radio Nigeria and Cross River State Signage and Advertising Agency
