LAGOS, Nigeria — No fewer than 10 pharmaceutical companies from Bangladesh are participating in the ongoing Pharma West Africa Fair at the Landmark Centre, in a strategic move to expand their footprint across Nigeria and the wider West African region.

The exhibition, holding from April 14 to 16, 2026, is being facilitated through a collaboration between the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the Bangladesh High Commission in Abuja.

According to organisers, seven of the participating pharmaceutical firms are sponsored by the Bangladeshi government, while three others are attending on a self-sponsored basis—reflecting strong public-private commitment to export expansion.

The participation is aimed at showcasing Bangladesh’s growing pharmaceutical capacity and forging partnerships with distributors, healthcare providers, and regulatory stakeholders across the region.

Industry observers say the fair presents a significant opportunity for Bangladeshi drug manufacturers to penetrate Nigeria’s large healthcare market and extend their reach into neighbouring West African countries, where demand for affordable and quality medicines continues to rise.

The following firms camefrom Bangladesh to the Expo: ACME Laboratories Ltd., Aristopharma Ltd., Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Euro Pharma Ltd. and  Nivian (Nevian) Pharmaceuticals / Life Science. Others are: Radiant Pharmaceuticals Ltd.,
Ziska Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Everest Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Orion Pharma Ltd. and Eskayef (SK+F) Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
