APC Spokesman Felix Morka Named Political Communicator of the Year Ahead of 2027 Polls

The All Progressives Congress has congratulated its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Chukwumenonye Morka, CON, following his selection as “Most Outstanding Political Marketing Communicator of the Year 2026” by the Nigerian Association of Christian Journalists.
The award will be conferred on Morka on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the NACJ Annual Integrity Lecture and Award Conference scheduled for the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.
In a press statement signed by Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the APC said the honour reflects Morka’s “stellar contribution” to communicating the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.
“*As the Party’s chief spokesperson, Morka has consistently demonstrated professionalism, clarity and intellectual depth in communicating the administration’s policies, programmes and achievements*,” the statement read.
The party noted that his messaging has helped deepen public understanding of government reforms in economic policy, infrastructure, food security, social investment, national security and investment promotion.

The APC also highlighted Morka’s nearly 40 years of service in law, human rights and public policy. He is Founder and Executive Director of SERAC, former Legal Officer for Africa at the International Human Rights Law Group in Washington DC, and former Legal Director of the Civil Liberties Organisation.
His work with the United Nations, UNAIDS, the World Bank, and the African Union, alongside an LL.M from Harvard Law School, was cited as strengthening his effectiveness as a political communicator.
In 2025, President Tinubu conferred the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger on him.

The APC said it expects Morka to continue shaping the party’s messaging as it prepares for the 2027 elections, and to build public support for the re-election of President Tinubu.
The NACJ conference brings together leaders, policymakers and media stakeholders to recognize Nigerians who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, integrity and patriotism.
