APC Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Marks 58th Birthday

The All Progressives Congress, APC, on Friday celebrated its National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, as he turned 58.

In a press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party’s National Working Committee described Yilwatda’s tenure as one marked by “purposeful leadership, remarkable accomplishments and unwavering dedication” to the party and the country.

The NWC said that since assuming office, the Chairman had provided “forthright and inclusive leadership” that strengthened the party’s internal democracy, deepened unity, and improved its institutional capacity.

It highlighted the successful rollout of the party’s electronic membership registration exercise under his watch, noting that the initiative expanded the APC’s membership base and further consolidated its position as Nigeria’s largest political party.

The statement also linked Yilwatda’s leadership to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the Chairman has continued to position the APC for sustained electoral success while reinforcing its commitment to democratic values, good governance and national development.

“On behalf of the National Working Committee, the National Executive Committee, leaders, members and supporters of our great Party, at home and abroad, we extend our heartiest congratulations to our iconic National Chairman on this special anniversary,” Morka said.

The NWC prayed for more years of “sound health, wisdom, strength and divine grace” for Yilwatda as he continues to lead the party.
