ANIOMA STATE CREATION: Group Champions applaud Senator Ned for leading cause

The National President of the Ndokwa Voiceful Youth Union (Delta North), Comrade Steve Okushi has raised a compelling case for the creation of Anioma State.
He made the call in a press statement, in Delta State noting that Anioma is rooted in what he described as “Balanced Representation” aimed at creating a sixth state in the South-East geopolitical zone.
Steve noted that this is to ensure a more balanced representation in the region.
Adding voices to the state’s Cultural Unity, he hinted that Anioma State is predominantly Ibo-speaking, fostering greater unity and cultural coherence among its people.
Stressing that the agitation for Anioma State is one of the oldest, dating back to the creation of Delta State, that demands its recognition.
And urged the National Senate and Mr. Speaker to give due consideration to the bill for Anioma State’s creation, currently championed by Senator Prince Ned Nwoko.
He therefore pledged the union’s unwavering support to the Senator’s advocacy and prayer.
