A well deserved Happy Birthday to De Fidel. Attaining 3 score years and still maintaining the same class, style and depth is just mesmerising in itself.

There is a photo I would have really loved to share, that photo is of all of us including my maternal uncle (Prince Azu Uwandu) who is one of your best friends eating ‘Tortoise’ meat around your swimming pool area. Unfortunately because of how long ago this was, we only had landlines then and no cell phones hence I had no phone camera to capture that novel moment for me. Novel moment for me; first time to try turtle meat but this wasn’t novel to you as you only ate meat from the wild! A rarity that can only be understood by those who operate in metaphysical realm.

You are one of the people I looked up to. Not because of WEALTH  but because of DEPTH. De Fidel, you have this in abundance!

You are very tactical, sharp and even sharper when the cage is rattled by an ‘Unknown Stranger’.

I have so many rich memories, moments that are highly impressionable and did impress me; helping to shape who I am and who I occasionally become when I need to…
