Adebayo refutes claims of stepping down

The Presidential Flagbearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Adewole Adebayo has described as untrue insinuations that he has stepped down from the race.

Prince Adebayo who was reacting to reports of his stepping down from the race said on his verified Twitter page: “I get inquiries by well-meaning voters, irritated by mischievous rumours, innuendoes and fake news of collaborating with other parties.”
“I want to categorically say that It is a lie. Ignore them. Vote for SDP.”
The legal luminary insisted he was prepared to see through the election as he was convinced Nigerians, having been Pummeled by both the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and tired of suffering, would vote for him in Saturday’s election.
Meanwhile, Prince Adebayo, his counterparts in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu, and African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore have pledged to improve education, revamp the economy and tackle insecurity if elected,

They gave the commitment on Sunday during the Definitive Presidential Debate, the last virtual presidential debate put together by seasoned non-partisan Nigerian journalists.

Speaking on his plans, Prince Adebayo said Nigerians need and deserve an alternative party and personality that will lead the country out of the woods.

SDP presidential standard-bearer, who described himself as the alternative, promised that he will eradicate poverty, insecurity and establish a government that will be accountable to all.

On whether he will remove the fuel subsidy, he said “I will remove fuel subsidy and channel the resources to other important sectors.”

Adebayo lamented that insecurity has become a big business in Nigeria, adding that “I will ensure that Nigerians are busy with good employment to tackle insecurity.
