Abducted Arthur Jarvis University Student regains freedom

News reaching Newsdotafrica has it that the female student of Arthur Jarvis University who was kidnapped has regained her freedom.
Miss Josephine Etim Edet regained her freedom after men of the Nigeria Police Force raided the hideout of the hoodlums around Thursday midnight and engaged them in a fierce combat that left some of them dead and two arrested with severe injuries.
Miss Etim was kidnapped on Tuesday evening as she was returning from the canteen in the school premises.
The public has been urged to remain calm as more investigations are being carried out and will be conveyed to them in due course .
Arthur Jarvis University is the first private institution in Cross River State and it belongs to a Gubernatorial Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Sir Arthur Jarvis .
