Following various discussions and meetings, Parties have agreed to share the aforementioned Facility and its appurtenances, subject to the terms and conditions in the MOU which is before us today.

“The MOU has clearly outlined amongst others, the respective obligations and responsibilities of the Parties.

“It is hoped that the MOU will encourage and facilitate productivity in our collaboration and commitment to promoting safer skies and operational excellence in the aviation industry in Nigeria and beyond.

He disclosed AAAU’s acquisition of 190-hectare land that was facilitated by the Honorable Minister of Aviation, Barrister Festus Keyamo, adding that with the support from TETFUND and the 2024 appropriation development work on the permanent site has already commenced.

“This accomplishment would not
have been possible without the collective efforts and advocacy of all involved.
As we convene here today to formalise our partnership through the signing of this symbolic document, I am filled with optimism for the future. With leaders like Mr. Alex Badeh at the helm” the Registrar concluded.
