NYSC Announces September 30 Commencement of 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
According to a statement signed by the NYSC Director, Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, registration of all prospective corps members will commence on September 30 and close on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The statement also disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members will hold on Friday, October 2, 2026.
The three-week orientation exercise is scheduled to take place across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wished prospective corps members and course officials safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.
He, however, advised prospective corps members to avoid night travel and ensure that they board vehicles from designated motor parks.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to adhere to the guidelines and prepare adequately for the orientation exercise.
