In line with the “Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency,” President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on Food Security and Agricultural Transformation, in another show of capacity and inclusivity governance, ” the talk and do Senator “Distinguished Senator David S.U. Jimkuta, CON, Senator representing Taraba South Senatorial District, has continued to demonstrate uncommon commitment to the development of agriculture and empowerment of farmers in Taraba State.
Senator Jimkuta, understanding that *food security is national security*, has keyed into President Tinubu’s policy of mechanized farming, improved seedlings, and value-chain support to ensure that Nigeria not only feeds itself but also becomes a net exporter of food.
His interventions in the agricultural sector, particularly in facilitating tractors, farm inputs, fertilizers, and modern farming equipment for rural farmers in Wukari, Ibi, Donga, Takum,and Ussa LGA, are clear evidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda is being felt at the grassroots in Taraba South.
By strengthening agricultural mechanization, Senator Jimkuta is addressing the age-long challenges of low productivity, manual labor, post-harvest losses, and rural poverty. His approach aligns perfectly with President Tinubu’s vision of moving agriculture from subsistence to commercial, youth-driven enterprise.
We, in the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 and APC Initiative For Good Governance (APC-IGG), commend Senator David Jimkuta, CON, for his visionary leadership, people-centered representation, and for effectively domesticating the Renewed Hope Agenda in Taraba State.
His efforts have not only improved food production but have also created jobs, boosted rural economy, and restored hope to thousands of farming families.
