Abang Odok Attends Reception Honouring Three Cross River AIGs in Abuja

Abuja, Nigeria – Award-winning philanthropist and legal practitioner, Barrister Abang Odok, on Tuesday joined eminent personalities, family members, friends, and members of the Cross River community in Abuja to celebrate the decoration and reception of three distinguished Cross River indigenes recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) in the Nigeria Police Force.
The event, held at the Nigeria Police Resource Centre, Jabi, Abuja, honoured AIG Nnaghe Obono Itam, Ph.D., AIG Bassey Samuel Ewah, PSC (++), and AIG Akaniyene Ifebem Ezima, MNIPS, in recognition of their elevation to one of the highest leadership positions in the Nigeria Police Force.
The colourful ceremony attracted senior police officers, government officials, traditional leaders, members of the legal profession, and prominent Cross River sons and daughters, who gathered to celebrate the achievements of the newly decorated AIGs.
Speaking on the occasion, Barrister Abang Odok congratulated the three senior police officers on their well-deserved promotions, describing the appointments as a testament to their professionalism, dedication, integrity, and years of distinguished service to the nation.
He noted that their elevation would inspire younger officers and serve as a source of pride for Cross River State, urging them to continue to uphold the highest standards of leadership, discipline, and commitment to national security.
The reception was organised by the families of the three AIGs in collaboration with the Cross River community in Abuja to celebrate their remarkable career milestones and contributions to policing and public service in Nigeria.
