Day 1: Saturday 10th January, 2026.
Northern Region:
Thick dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Central Region:
Moderate dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Southern Region:
Sunny skies with patches of clouds are anticipated over the region with chances of isolated thunderstorms
accompanied with light rains over parts of Lagos, Bayelsa and Ogun states during the afternoon/evening
hours.
Day 2: Sunday 11
thJanuary, 2026.
Northern Region:
Thick dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Central Region:
Thick dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Southern Region:
Slight dust haze is anticipated over the Inland cities, while sunny skies with patches of clouds are
expected over the Coastal cities throughout the forecast period.
Day 3: Monday 12
th January, 2026.
Northern Region:
Moderate dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Central Region:
Moderate dust haze is anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period.
Southern Region:
Slight dust haze is anticipated over the Inland cities, while sunny skies with patches of clouds are expected
over the Coastal cities throughout the forecast period.
Advisory
i. Dust particles are in suspension; the public should take necessary precaution.
ii. People with Asthmatic health condition and other respiratory issues should be cautious of the present weather
condition.
iii. Driving under rain should be with caution.
