NACCIMA Congratulates Oyetola, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Roles in Securing Seat at IMO Council 

As Nigeria makes a return to the council after 14 years of absence, the National Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA),  has congratulated the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their roles in securing this achievement.

NACCIMA President, Alhaji Jani Ibrahim, praised the minister’s visionary leadership and strategic reforms, which have enhanced Nigeria’s global credibility in maritime administration. The association also commended President Tinubu’s administration for supporting the growth of the blue economy and maritime security. ¹ ² ³

This election underscores Nigeria’s commitment to global maritime safety, environmental stewardship, and sustainable blue economy growth. Nigeria joins 19 other nations in Category C, solidifying its position as an emerging naval hub in Africa.
