The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has issued a weather outlook for the next three days, predicting thunderstorms, moderate rains, and flash floods in various parts of the country.

Day 1 (Monday, July 28, 2025)
Northern Region: Thunderstorms with moderate rains expected in parts of Jigawa, Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi, Yobe, and Katsina states.
Central Region: Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains anticipated over parts of Niger, Benue, FCT, Plateau, and Nasarawa states.
Southern Region: Cloudy skies expected with light to moderate rains over parts of Ondo, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Anambra, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom states.

Day 2 (Tuesday, July 29, 2025)
Northern Region: Sunny skies with patches of clouds expected, with thunderstorms and moderate rains anticipated over parts of Adamawa, Taraba, Jigawa, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Sokoto, and Kebbi states.
Central Region: Morning light to moderate rains expected over parts of Niger, Benue, FCT, Kogi, Plateau, and Nasarawa states.
Southern Region: Cloudy skies expected with moderate rains over parts of Abia, Delta, Rivers, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and Bayelsa states.

Day 3 (Wednesday, July 30, 2025)
Northern Region: Sunny skies with patches of cloud expected, with thunderstorms and moderate rains anticipated over parts of Borno, Jigawa, Kaduna, Taraba, Adamawa, Bauchi, Yobe, Gombe, Zamfara, and Kebbi states.
Central Region: Cloudy skies anticipated with moderate rains over parts of FCT, Plateau, Niger, Benue, and Nasarawa states.
Southern Region: Prospects of morning rains over parts of Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Cross River states, with moderate to heavy rains expected over parts of Ebonyi, Abia, Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River, and Akwa Ibom states.
