How NSCDC Nasarawa Command Nabed 4 Suspected Thieves in Possession of Illicit Drugs

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nasarawa State Command in recent surveillance and intelligence network arrested four suspects for burglary, theft, and possession of illicit drugs in Karu, Nasarawa State of Nigeria.
The suspects; Amad Abubakar, 24yrs, Stephen Ikechukwu Onochi 30yrs, Ibrahim Ismaila 24yrs and Rabiu Haruna 26yrs were Paraded at the Command’s Headquarters in Lafia, the state Capital.
the Commandant, MK Ingawa who spoke through the Command’s Public Relations Officer DSC Jerry Victor said, the suspects, were arrested by the gallant men of Ruga Madaki 1 Division of the NSCDC on night patrol, on 9th December, 2024, at about 2300hrs.
The suspects were found in possession of stolen goods, including Two Phones, stun gun, over 20 parcels of wrapped cannabis sativa (Indian Hemp), 2 pair of scissors, chemical embedded drug also known as Ice, Bunch of Keys, Torch Light and other illicit drugs.
According to the spokesman, the suspects were arrested following a tip-off from a concerned citizen. The Corps has warned that it will not tolerate any form of criminal activity in the state and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that those who engage in such activities are brought to justice.
Comdt., MK Ingawa also appealed to members of the public to continue to provide useful information that can aid in the arrest and prosecution of criminals.
He said the suspects will be charged to court of competent jurisdiction for prosecution, immediately investigation is concluded.
The NSCDC has assured that, it will continue to work closely with other security agencies and stakeholders to ensure that Nasarawa State remains a safe and secure place for all.
