National Sports Commission DG, Hon. Bukola Olopade Officially Assumes Office…Appoints 3-Aides

Hon. Bukola Olopade formally assumed office, on Wednesday morning, as the Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), at its headquarters in Abuja.
Hon. Olopade marked the start of his tenure with warm meetings with the Commission’s chairman, directors and staff.
At the meeting with the Commission’s directors, Hon. Olopade engaged in meaningful discussions on key sports-related matters and laid out his vision for the Commission’s future.
As part of his first-day activities, Hon. Olopade paid a courtesy visit to the NSC Chairman, Alhaji Shehu Dikko. He expressed enthusiasm about working alongside the Chairman, describing their collaboration as quintessential for achieving the Commission’s goals in developing Nigeria’s sporting sector.
The newly appointed Director General also reiterated his commitment to dialogue, teamwork, and setting a strong foundation for sports development in the country.
The Director General also approved the appointment of three Aides to serve in the office of the Director-General of the Commission.
In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by the Director of Press Mrs Kehinde Ajayi, the appointments include,
1. Seyi Johnson , Special Assistant
2. Kola Daniel , Special Assistant Media
3. Ebidiowei Oweifie Special Assistant, ( special duties )
“By these appointments, You are expected to bring your wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of your duties, in line with the mandate and vision of the Sports Commission.
“Congratulations on your appointments and best wishes”, Ajayi stated.
