Edun joins Federal Govt. Delegation in Bauchi for Launch of Health Projects

In a significant stride towards enhancing healthcare delivery services in Nigeria, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun today joined a federal government delegation in Bauchi State to launch 10 major health infrastructure projects.

This landmark initiative, part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to revolutionize healthcare services across the country.

The delegation which also has Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, was received by Bauchi State Governor, His Excellency Senator Bala Mohammed.

The visit featured the groundbreaking of the MedServe Diagnostic Center, a key project under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery in the region.

In addition, the Honourable Minister participated in the inauguration of the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) Complex and personally opened the Family Medicine Complex, further expanding access to specialized healthcare services.

In his address, HM Edun underscored the federal government’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s healthcare sector through initiatives like MedServe, emphasizing the vital collaboration between federal, state, and local governments. He also highlighted the crucial role of international partners in ensuring the success of these projects.

The Honourable Minister reaffirmed the government’s unwavering dedication to improving the quality of life for all Nigerians, describing the groundbreaking as a pivotal step toward a healthier and more prosperous nation.

With the launch of these critical health infrastructure projects, Nigeria has taken a bold step towards a healthier and more prosperous future.
