Hon. Keftin Amuga, the Gombe State Labour Party’s 2023 Gubernatorial Candidate and State Chairman of the Gombe State Middle Belt Forum (MBF), extends heartfelt wishes and salutations to his esteemed leader and mentor General Theophilus.Y. Danjuma (Rtd) on the occasion of a momentous 85th birthday.
Reflecting on the journey that began with the formation of the Political Association of the People’s Solidarity Party (PSP) in 1989, which, although unregistered, garnered acclaim for its massive electoral acceptance, Nationwide at the inception of the Second Republic Democratic dispensation. Hon. Keftin Amuga acknowledges the profound inspiration he derives from Gen. T.Y. Danjuma’s remarkable qualities,wherein he stated that;
“Since you piloted us in the formation of the then Political Association of the People’s Solidarity Party- PSP, which should have won the General Election at the inception of the Second Republic, had it been registered, I became inspired by your love for the Nigerian Nation irrespective of premordial cleavages”
Hon. Keftin Amuga admires the inherent wisdom and courage of General Theophilus Danjuma, which has been instrumental in guiding his political endeavors. “My leader’s profound understanding and unwavering strength of character has served as a beacon of inspiration for me and countless others.”

Our leader’s love for the Nigerian Nation, transcending primordial cleavages, stands as a testament to our commitment to national unity. Hon. Keftin Amuga also commends Gen. T.Y Danjuma’s steadfast dedication to combating the oppression of the less privileged and his unwavering readiness to uplift the downtrodden. These qualities exemplify his unwavering commitment to social justice and equality.
The 2023 Gombe State Gubernatorial Candidate for Labour Party, wholeheartedly believes that had Gen. T.Y Danjuma accepted the Presidency of the Nigerian Nation, the country would have been spared from the current catastrophic state it finds itself in. Nonetheless, Hon.
