Mctominay spares United’s blushes
Manchester United needed two goals in additional time to gain a comeback win over Brentford FC at Old Trafford.
Scott Mctominay was the hero of the game as he came in from the bench to grab a brace in the 93rd and 96th minute to prevent United from a third consecutive defeat at home.
He equalized with an excellent control and shot to beat the Brentford keeper before latching unto a Harry Maguire flick-on to score the winner.
Mathias Jensen’s first-half tame effort had put the Bumble bees ahead.
Blues defeat Burnley to pile more pressure on Kompany
Chelsea FC put up their best performance of the season when they came from a goal down to defeat Burnley FC 1-4 at the Turf Moor.
Forward, Raheem Sterling was on fire as he had a hand in every goal the Blues scored this afternoon.
French forward Wilson Odobert scored on his first Premier League start with a low shot past Robert Sanchez to give the Clarets the lead.
Chelsea equalized when Sterling’s cross struck defender Ameen Al-Dakhil’s knee and looped over James Trafford into the net.
In the second half, Sterling then won a penalty and Cole Palmer stepped up and scored his first goal for the Blues since joining from Manchester City.
The former Manchester City forward then got on the score sheet when he scored after being released by Conor Gallagher.
Nicolas Jackson came from the bench to add the icing with a turn and finish, with Sterling once again involved in the move and see Chelsea secure back-to-back away wins in the Premier League since October 2022.
Everton snatch home win in style
Everton FC ended their run of 4 consecutive home defeats in the Premier League on Saturday with an emphatic win over Bournemouth FC.
James Garner’s finish after 10 minutes put the Toffees ahead. Jack Harrison, on loan from Leeds United made it 2 from 25 yards after a poor punch by goalkeeper Neto.
Sean Dyche’s men made it 3 points on the hour mark when Abdoulaye Doucoure smashed home to cap a memorable afternoon.
Ten man Spurs win at Luton
Dutch defender Van de Ven scored the solitary goal as Tottenham Hotspur hung on to beat Luton Town FC.
Yves Bissouma was sent off just before half-time after successive yellow cards but it was the defender who scored after a cut back from James Madison.

La Liga: Bellingham continues scintillating form against Osasuna
Jude Bellingham continued his fairytale form with Real Madrid as he got a brace in their 4 – 0 drubbing of Osasuna.
The 20 year old midfielder scored the first goal as he drove the ball into the roof of the net after a good combination between Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric.
Bellingham doubled the Blaugrana’s advantage in the 54th minute after a crisp one-two with Federico Valverde to shoot between the legs of goalkeeper Sergio Herrera.
Vinicius jnr made it three from a one on one after a through ball from Valverde again.
The fourth goal came courtesy of a fantastic control and lay off for Joselu to slot home.
Serie A: juve and Milan win as Inter drop points
Olivier Giroud turned goalkeeper in the last dying moments of the game as AC Milan defeated Genoa 1-0 togo top.
Christian Pulisic scored the only goal in a bad tempered game which saw both Genoa’s keeper Josep Martinez and Milan goalie Mike Maignan red carded.
Giroud stepped up and even made a brave late save to secure a win for his side and go two points clear at the top of Serie A, ahead of rivals Inter Milan.
Earlier, Inter Milan surrendered a 2 goal lead against Bologna.
They raced to the lead with Franceso Acerbi before Lautaro Martinez continued his incredible form by scoring his 10th Serie A goal of the season.
Riccardo Orsolini pulled one back from the penalty spot in the first half and Joshua Zirkzee restored parity in the second half.
Inter couldn’t grab the win and their dropped points took them to 2nd position in the league.
Juventus FC scored two set piece goals to defeat Torino in the Turin derby go third on the log.
Federico Gatti and Arkadiusz Milik scored both goals in the second half in a very keenly contested match to go three clear of Napoli and two points behind Inter.
