#16DAYSOF ACTIVITIES 2022: WEWE Others Walk Against Gender Based Violence To Create Awareness

In a bid to further sensitize the public on the dangers of violence against the vulnerable, the Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE), with support from Irish AID, the Nigerian government and CSO partners, on Wednesday took a walk from Berger to Wuse Market in Abuja.

According to a statement made available to News Dot Africa, the aim is for stakeholders to UNITE, create awareness on GBV prevention and the need to report cases to the authorities to in order to end GBV against women and girls in FCT.
