CROSS RIVER GUBER 2023: Sen. Otu, APC Campaign Gains Momentum in Eki Ward

Earlier this week, the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC for the 2023 Gubernatorial elections, Senator Prince Otu and other candidates of the APC in Cross River State received a boost as State Excos of the Party met with faithfuls of Eki Ward to resolve internal rancors.
The meeting was held at the State Party Secretariat, where the State Secretary of the Party, Barr. Bassey Mensah presided on behalf of the Chairman, who was inevitably absent.
In resolve by the State Secretary, Mr. Bassey Mensah advised that parties involved in the tussle should shelve their personal interests for the sake of the party. He noted that primaries have come and gone and candidates have emerged at various levels, it was only imperative for Party faithfuls to work for the interest and victory of the Party.
On Ward leadership, Mr. Mensah advised the Chapter Chairman to recognise and give due privileges to the Ward Councilor and Chairman as the Political Leaders of the Ward. While Chief Charles Ntiero, Engr. Adolphus James, Pst. Dr. Edet Okon were nominated as leaders of the Ward.
The Ward Councilor, Hon. Ukpong Ayatt, in his response, appreciated the State Party for swift response and promise to work with stakeholders and other members of the party for the victory of the Governorship Candidate, Sen. (Prince) Bassey Otu and other Candidates of the party.
