I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THE NEWLY ELECTED NDUKUBA’S LEADERSHIP OF NIGERIANS IN ITALY – EKE

The President of Nigerians in Verona , Province in Italy, Mr Charles Eke has expressed confidence in the leadership of the  newly elected President of the Nigerian Community in Italy Mr Rowland Ndukuba.

Mr Eke who has spent more than 30 years in Italy stated this in an online chat with the Senior Correspondent of News Dot Africa, adding that he has known Rowland for a long time.

Last month, May 15, 2021, in the northern city of, new officers were elected to run the affairs of the Nigerian Community in Italy under the aegis of the National Associations of Nigeria Unions in Italy, NUNAI. At the hotly contested election, Rowland Anyaehiechuukwu Ndukuba was elected president to lead NUNAI in the next three years.

Three former presidents of NUNAI including veteran community activist, Engr Barry Igbeare, were on hand to observe the election which was adjudged to have been free and fair.

Mr Rowland Ndukuba is from Owerri in Imo State of Nigeria, former President of Nigerian Community Bologna & Province and currently the National president elect of NUNAI.

The newly elected president and other officials will be inaugrated on 10/07/2021.
