2023 ELECTIONS: ANNID/ NAPAC ROLLS OUT PLANS FOR SUCCESSFUL OBSERVATION AND TRAINING

The All Nigerians Nationals in the Diaspora (ANNID) and Nigerian America Public Affairs Committee Foundation (NAPAC), has disclosed plans to a successful observation of the 2023 National and State elections that comes up on the 25th February and 11th March, 2023 respectively.

This was revealed by the ANNID Global Chairman/ Head of Mission, Dr. Peter Mozie while addressing journalists at Abuja on the Thursday, 9 February, 2023, with the theme: ANNID Election Observer Mission, Voter Education and Free Training of Local Civil Society Groups for 2023 Elections Observation

Dr Mozie who leads a team of the only INEC accredited Nigerian Diaspora organization accredited to observe the 2023 elections said the purpose of the pre observation press briefing was to express ANNIDs continued determination, and commitment to see a free, fair and credible elections in Nigeria which comes up less than two weeks from now. “Nigerians will be going into a very crucial election exercise in the history of our nation that will usher in a new leadership in the country”, ha added.

ANNIDs Chairman, who emphasized the organisation’s commitment to the elections in Nigeria stated, “Gentlemen of the press, we can assure you as we believe that against all odds and permutations by all manner of political pundits, analysts and speculators, Nigeria and Nigerians will come out of the coming elections stronger.

“We therefore appeal to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria , INEC and Security agencies to ensure that everything necessary for the success of this election are strategically positioned . We appeal to all other stakeholders, political parties and aspirants to embrace politics without violence and free of bitterness, while we encourage Nigerians to be prepared to exercise their right at the polls and cast their vote to see a greater Nigeria of our dreams.”
