2019: FRSC redeploys 5 assistant corps marshals

 

Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, has approved the redeployment of five Assistant Corps Marshals (ACM) “to strategise and realign operations towards attainment of 2019 strategic goals’’.

Announcing the postings in a statement on Thursday in Abuja, FRSC Spokesman, Mr Bisi Kazeem, said that the officers were expected to complete handing and taking over processes on or before Jan. 23.

Those affected, according to him, are ACM Kayode Olangunju, who just completed a course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).

“He is to assume duty as the new Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone RS10 Headquarters, Sokoto.

“ACM John Meheux, formerly the Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone RS2 Headquarters, Lagos, is to move to the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja, as the Assistant Corps Marshal in charge of Personnel.

“He is to be replaced by ACM Samuel Obayemi, formerly the Zonal Commanding Officer of Zone RS9 Headquarters, Enugu,” he said.

Other ACMs affected in the exercise are Efosa Osawe, who moves from Corps Safety Engineering (COSEN) at National Headquarters, Abuja, to Motor Vehicle Administration.

“Pullen Osadebamwen moves from RS10 Headquarters, Sokoto, as Zonal Commanding Officer to Zone RS9 Headquarters, Enugu, as the Zonal Commanding Officer.

“Other senior officers affected were Corps Commander (CC) Ronke Daniel, formerly of Special Marshals Section under Department of Operations at FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja, who now moves to Headquarters Administration.

“Corps Commander Emmanuel Abe, formerly of FRSC Print Farm, moves to Kogi as Sector Commander.

“Corps Commander Fumbi Olawoyin, formerly the Zonal Head of Operations, Zone RS3 Headquarters, Yola, moves to National Headquarters, Abuja, as Head of Special Marshals Section.”

Kazeem stated that also redeployed were former Sector Commander, RS5.2, Delta, Corps Commander Ridom Kumven, who moves to the National Headquarters, Abuja, as Corps Transport Standardisation Officer.

“He is replaced by Corps Commander Ocheja Ameh, former Corps Intelligence Officer, who now assumes office as new Delta State Sector Commander.

“Corps Commander Musa Yerima, who just completed a course at the Army War College, is to assume duty as Corps Safety Engineering Officer.

“Corps Commander Kugu Ismaila, former Sector Commander, Ekiti State, now moves to Nasarawa State as Sector Commander.

“Corps Commander Ayodele Kumapayi, former Corps Transport and Safety Officer is to assume office as Sector Commander, Anambra State,” he said.

He added that Corps Commander Kike Akinnusoye, formerly at the National Headquarters Motor Vehicle Administration, had been reassigned to FRSC Print Farm as the new head.

“Corps Commander Pauline Olaye, formerly at the National Headquarters Administration, now moves to Pension and Insurance Section under Administration and Human Resources.
