Our Priorities are staff welfare, improved working environment-Bisalla

The Nigerian Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Aminu Aliyu Bisalla has reiterated the commitment of the Ministry’s management to the welfare and improvement of the working environment of Staff, for better service delivery in the Ministry.
Bisalla made the disclosure at the inauguration ceremony of the new executives of the Association of Senior Civil servants of Nigeria, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs’ Chapter, led by Comrade Benjamin Ogede, on Monday, July 1, 2019.
“We are here to serve and staff are our priority, because the greatest assets of any organisation is human being,” the Permanent Secretary stressed.
Aminu Bisalla Pledged the support of the Management to the new leadership of the Senior Staff Association to motivate staff in the interest of the Service and the development of the Niger Delta region.
He assured that the lingering payment of First 28 days for staff, training and other issues would be addressed.
Earlier, the National President, Trade Union Congress, and President General, Association of Senior Civil servants of Nigeria, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama, represented by the Secretary, Federal Capital Territory’s Chapter of the Association, Comrade Isaac Ojemhenke said the Association had recorded a number of achievements, including working closely with the Federal government in ensuring the payment of promotion arrears for Civil Servants.
Comrade Kaigama pledged the cooperation of the National body in ensuring that the new executives in the Ministry were trained on labour issues and ways of engaging the Management to achieve fruitful relationship for the betterment of staff of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
Presenting his inaugural speech, the new Chairman, Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs’ Chapter, Comrade Benjamin Ogede reaffirmed the commitment of the new executives to the Ministry towards sustainable peace and the development of the Niger Delta region.
