Zeenat Adamu Joins The People’s Project to Advance Financial Strategy

The People’s Project for Social and Climate Justice (TPP), has welcomed Zeenat Adamu as its new Finance Officer, a role that blends passion, precision, and purpose. Her appointment signals a renewed commitment to financial transparency, youth empowerment, and inclusive growth across Africa.

Known for her results-driven leadership and dedication to empowering young people, Zeenat brings over seven years of experience in the banking, fintech, nonprofit, and service sectors to her new role.
Her impressive portfolio includes managing budgets exceeding ₦100 million, mobilizing more than ₦10 million in project funding, and optimizing organizational systems that boosted performance by 97 percent. Beyond her technical skills, Zeenat stands out for her commitment to community development and youth inclusion.
Holding a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja, Zeenat is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Her combination of analytical expertise and people-centered leadership reflects the kind of innovative thinking TPP values.
Driven by a passion for mentorship, Zeenat has led several youth empowerment initiatives in Northern and Middle Belt Nigeria, creating leadership and digital skills opportunities for girls aged 14–24. Her focus on equipping young women with knowledge and confidence aligns seamlessly with TPP’s Boys Champions initiative, which works to reshape narratives around gender and leadership.
