ZAMFARA POLICE COMMAND RESCUES TWO KIDNAPPED FEMALE VICTIMS, AFTER THREE WEEKS IN CAPTIVITY

The Nigeria Police Force, Zamfara State Command has rescued two (2) female hostages namely: Ubaida Hassan, a 12yrs old and Umaima Jamilu a 10yrs old of Gidan Liman village in Kekun Waje district of Bungudu LGA.
The freed hostages were rescued on 20th August, 2022, when Operatives of the Zamfara State Police Command were on confidence building patrol along Nya Mango in Bungudu LGA, acted on intelligence report that led to the unconditional rescue unhurt.
The victims were abducted by armed bandit/terrorists on 15th July, 2022 following attack on the village. Victims were medically checked at General Hospital Bungudu, thereafter, debriefed by the Police and handed over to their families.
The Command reassures the public of its commitment to the protection of lives and property, and further urges all and sundry to be security conscious and report suspicious characters to the Police or any security Agency for prompt action.
