What President Tinubu told New Service Chiefs

Abuja, Nigeria – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu held his first meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs and the Chief of Defence Intelligence at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, on Monday.
The meeting, which included Lieutenant General O. O. Oluyede, Chief of Defence Staff, and the Chiefs of Army, Navy, and Air Staff, focused on tackling the nation’s security challenges through discipline and professionalism.
President Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to security reforms and improved coordination among the military services. He assured the Service Chiefs of his government’s full support in building a stronger and more capable Armed Forces.
The meeting reflects the government’s renewed emphasis on achieving lasting peace and stability throughout Nigeria through effective leadership and cooperation within the defence sector.¹
