Advancing National Food Security:
The Renewed Hope Agricultural Revolution is a strategic and systemic acumen of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for his visionary leadership in addressing Nigeria’s food security challenges. This strategy extends to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, for ensuring the effective coordination and implementation of these transformative policies.
A Trillion-Naira Agricultural Support Framework of Tinubu’s administration has committed significant financial resources to revitalize the farming sector, transitioning from subsistence to commercialized agriculture under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, overseen by the Honorable Minister Senator Abubakar Kyari who coordinate the ministry with nationalistic aspirations to advance the agricultural sector in line with people focus determination of the current government.
The National Agricultural Development Fund is another initiation of a ₦100 billion fund specifically to support smallholder farmers.
Furthermore, Agricultural Credit is a credible deployment of ₦250 billion in agricultural credit to address challenges in production and increase yields.

Infrastructure Support has been a basic commitment to provide 2,000 tractors annually at low interest rates to accelerate mechanization.
The purpose and the impact of the State of Emergency on Food Security
Declared on July 13, 2023, the State of Emergency on Food Security has transitioned from a policy declaration to a series of high-impact results.
Land Utilization, the mapping and release of over 500,000 hectares of arable land for large-scale rice, wheat, and maize cultivation is an integral aspect of increasing the immediate relief measures the strategic release of 42,000 metric tonnes of assorted grains from national reserves and a 150-day duty-free import window for essential food items to stabilize prices.
For advancement of National Security Integration, Moving food and water availability under the purview of the National Security Council to protect farmlands and ensure farmer are some of the serious measure to safety and securing an enabling grounds for production of productive imput in sector.
However, advocacy for the 2027 Renewed Hope Agenda , with
Ambassador Tsoken emphasizes that these milestones are only the beginning of a long-term national rebirth.
A Call to Action:
Nigerians are urged to remain patient and united, as sustainable nation-building requires collective sacrifice and support for the government’s reforms.
The 2027 Vision, through the Asiwaju Again Renewed Hope Support Initiative 2027 is mobilizing grassroots support to ensure the continuity of these “pro-people” policies.
The APC-IGG, however, remains committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance to ensure that agricultural benefits reach the intended grassroots beneficiaries.
