Supreme Court Faults PMB… Old Naira notes to be in circulation until December 31, 2023

The supreme court today ruled that the old 200 ,500 and 1000 naira notes are to remain legal tender till December 31.
In a unanimous decision today, Friday March 3, the 7 member panel added that the old notes should be used side by side with the redesigned notes.
The court also faulted President Muhammadu Buhari for undertaking the naira demonization policy without consulting with the council of state, Federal executive council and other stakeholders saying it was against the CBN act .
