Stakeholders draws blueprint for the Russia-African summit

In preparation for the Russia-Africa summit, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has held a critical roundtable designed to set the Nigerian agenda for the upcoming Summit, which holds on October 20th, 2019.

The Roundtable which was attended by participants from private, diplomatic and public sectors was held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Abuja International Trade and Convention Centre.

The session which was aimed at leveraging on existing business relations between Russia and Nigerian private sectors; also opened ideas and areas the Russian country can partner and invest in; these include the oil and gas, railways, steel, petroleum pipelines, textile industry, nuclear power plants for friendly use, education, defense and infrastructure.

Speaking at the event. Mrs. Tonia Shoyele, Director General of the ACCI, disclosed that a plan will be drawn from the session and it will be used to facilitate investment opportunities from the summit to provide content and referrals for the business community and Nigerians in general.
