Silas Agara Elected 1st Vice President of Union of African Karate Federation

Silas Agara, the President of the Nigeria Karate Federation and former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, has been elected as the first Vice President of the Union of African Karate Federation (UFAK) West Region 2. He secured six votes, defeating President Rock Quenum of the Benin Republic Karate Federation, who received four votes.

Agara’s four-year tenure is a testament to his contributions to karate’s development in Nigeria and the West African sub-region. The Nigeria Karate Federation’s Board has congratulated him on this achievement. Notably, Nigeria will host the UFAK African Championship in July, featuring around 50 countries.
