The Honourable Minister of State for Industry, John Owan Enoh, has announced the renaming of the John Owan Enoh Foundation for Diabetes to the Rev. Fr. Victor Owan Enoh Memorial Foundation for Diabetes, in honour of his late father, Rev. Fr. Victor Achima Owan Enoh.

In a statement issued following the burial rites of the revered cleric, Senator Owan Enoh expressed gratitude to God and appreciation to friends, associates, and well-wishers who offered prayers, condolences, and support throughout the family’s period of mourning.
“We return all glory to God Almighty for the grace granted to us in laying our beloved father to rest in peace,” the Minister stated. “Your support strengthened us immeasurably and reminded us that we do not walk alone.”
Foundation Renamed to Preserve Legacy.

The newly renamed Rev. Fr. Victor Owan Enoh Memorial Foundation for Diabetes will continue its mission of supporting and advocating for individuals living with diabetes — a cause described as deeply personal to the family. The Foundation was originally established a decade ago in response to the late priest’s personal journey with the condition.

According to the Minister, the renaming serves as a lasting tribute to his father’s life of faith, scholarship, and compassionate service to humanity.
Publication of 46 Authored Books
In furtherance of preserving his legacy, the Foundation will oversee the publication and formal launch of the late cleric’s forty-six authored books. The works will be made widely accessible through Amazon and other digital platforms, fulfilling what the family described as his earnest wish.

Proceeds from the publications will be directed toward:
Sustaining and expanding the work of the Rev. Fr. Victor Owan Enoh Memorial Foundation for Diabetes.
Establishing a dedicated Sick Fund to support the medical care of Priests and Reverend Sisters.

Senator Owan Enoh reaffirmed the family’s commitment to upholding the values that defined his father’s life — faith, learning, and service.
“We remain committed to preserving his legacy of faith, learning, and service to humanity,” he said, praying that God would bless and reward all who stood with the family during their time of grief.

The announcement marks a significant step in institutionalizing the humanitarian and scholarly contributions of the late Rev. Fr. Victor Owan Enoh while strengthening advocacy and support structures for diabetes care in Nigeria.
