Honourable Minster of Transportation, Senator Said Mohammed Alkali represented President Bola Ahmed at the wedding fatiha ceremony of two Kaltungo Chiefdom Princesses, Princess Ummulkhair Sale Muhammad and Princess Saadatu Sale Muhammad, held over the weekend.
The ceremony, which took place in Gombe State, was attended by dignitaries from various walks of life, including Deputy Governor Dr. Manasseh Daniel Jatau, traditional rulers, diplomats, and top government functionaries.
The formalities of the Nikah were presided over by an Islamic scholar, culminating in the climax of traditional ceremonies as enshrined in the Quran. Senator Alkali was received by His Highness, the Mai Kaltungo, Engineer Sale Muhammad, OON, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Gombe State Council of Emirs and Chiefs.
The Minister prayed for Almighty Allah’s blessings upon the couples, seeking peace and prosperity in their matrimonial homes. In a similar vein, the Minister also paid homage to the Mai Tangle, Alh. Muhammad Sanusi Maiyamba, at his palace in Billiri.
