SELF DENIAL: A Crucial Part Of Ramadan

“In this holy month of Ramadan, let us note that self denial by way of fasting is a metaphor of spiritual sacrifice”

These were the words of the Presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Ademola Adewole to the Muslims on the occasion of the Ramadan festival.

He noted that Allah can only bless us if we carry this cardinal principle in our work as Muslims and by extension, Nigerians.

He also added that “we be so committed to building a just, fair society”. That it is in showing commitment can we make our society better.
