SDP PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT, PRINCE ADEWOLE’S MAY DAY MESSAGE

Presidential aspirant of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Prince Ademola Adewole has extolled the virtues of dedication, hardwork and honour as key qualities of workers.

He made this statement via his twitter handle in commemoration of Workers’ Day 2022.

In his message of hope which happens to be his campaign slogan, Prince Adewole urged workers to come together to institute a system where the worker is king and the country is first. He believes that putting the country first as a worker will help to root out corruption and every other vice that has plagued the service industry.

He further added that ‘Wealth is the result of hard work and dedication from society’s honourable laborers’. Prince Adewole who called Workers ‘heroes’ opined that it is important to celebrate them because our workers are nation builders and without them the resources of the country will not be properly harnessed

International Workers’ Day, also known as Labour Day in some countries and often referred to as ‘May Day’, is a celebration of labourers and the working class that is promoted by the International Labour Movement and occurs every year on May Day.
