Queen Bassey Hosanna emerges ‘Face Of Maritime International’ Ambassador
Queen Hosanna has emerged the Ambassador of Face of Maritime International.
Hosanna is an indigene of Akwa Ibom state, and a graduate of Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology where she studied Maritime Transport and Business Studies.
Bassey Hosanna represented Nigerian Ports Authority in the 2018 FOMI Contest as Miss NPA. She emerged the 1st Runner up and was crowned Ambassador, Face Of Maritime International 2018.
As FOMI Ambassador, her main pet-project is to organise mentorship programs for Nigerian maritime students, this she does by creating a forum where various maritime students and aspiring young maritime professionals could interact with industry practitioners. She also undertakes other humanitarian services such as visitation to seafarers in prison and other developmental projects that benefits the maritime industry.
Hosanna’s reign would end in October, 2019 at the Grand Finale of FOMI 2019. She will give account of her projects and handover to the next FOMI Ambassador who will continue from where she stopped.
