Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan Obtains Full Accreditation Status of Additional Programmes from NUC

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has accredited four in-demand programs at Precious Cornerstone University (PCU), Ibadan. The newly accredited programmes are Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Mass Communication, and International Relations.
The results of the October/November 2023 accreditation exercise by the NUC were released via a letter dated 16th June 2024, granting “FULL ACCREDITATION” status to all the four (4), additional programmes.
Professor Timothy O. Adejumo, the Vice-Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, expressed his excitement about the good news. He stated that the result of this accreditation exercise was a testament to the excellent equipment, standardized teaching, and high quality services being provided at PCU.
According to Professor Adejumo, “apart from obtaining this prestigious accreditation, which is just one of the many developments at PCU, Ibadan, the University is working tirelessly towards establishing PCU as a world-class institution by having high-quality faculty; outstanding students; high volume of influential and widely-cited research publications; cutting-edge facilities; substantial financial support; innovative curriculum; employing effective teaching methods and technologies; and global engagement.
I am pleased to inform the public that PCU now owns its transformer, which will provide electricity to the university community. We are also in partnership with Google-for-Education, which is providing 24-hour high bandwidth internet connectivity. PCU is the ideal place for your ward to study.”
