Nsemo emerges winner of State House of Assembly Polls

Stanley Nsemo of the the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emerged winner of the Calabar Municipality State Constituency seat in the Cross River State House of Assembly.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Sunday, Nsemo polled a total of 17,130 votes to emerge as the winner of the Saturday, March 18, 2023 State House of Assembly election

He overcame the incumbent two term member Rt. Hon. Efa Esua of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who raked in 11, 857 votes.

While announcing the result, the returning officer said, “that Nsemo Okon Bassey Stanley of APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law is hereby declared the winner and he is returned elected.”
