NSCDC Band ushers CG to his office with a symbolic parade to Kickstart 2024

As a mark of respect and honour, the Drill and Regimentation Unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), organised a welcome parade for the Commandant General of the Corps, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR at the National Headquarters on Monday, 8th January 2024.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement during the short but colourful parade which is the first of its kind as revealed by the Unit was to officially and symbolically welcome the Commandant General into the year 2024 as the helmsman of the Corps.
According to the Drill and Regimentation Unit, such a parade is usually organised on the first official Day for a very senior officer of Commandant General’s calibre.
Highlights of the ceremony were the Best Quarter Guard presentation by participants who dressed in ceremonial attire followed by NSCDC Band performance to usher in the Commandant General into the Administrative Block Complex with melodious tunes in celebration of the third substantive Commandant General.
