NSC Shines at 2024 Port Harcourt FEPSGA Games

The National Sports Commission (NSC) contingent made a strong start at the 2024 Port Harcourt FEPSGA games, winning a gold medal in Ayo and thrashing Special Duties 7-0 in football.
Adamu Usman, Chairman of the NSC, won the first gold medal of the tournament in Ayo, setting the tone for the NSC’s impressive performance.
In football, the NSC team dominated Special Duties, with John Jerry Gana scoring a hat-trick and Amos Haruna, Adeoye Tosin, Otuk, and Auwal Usman also finding the back of the net. The NSC will face their next opponent in the quarterfinals.
Kenneth Kanu also won his first match in badminton men’s singles and will face another opponent in the quarterfinals later today.
The NSC athletes are also competing in athletics, with their heat scheduled to take place at the University of Port Harcourt.
Other sports where the NSC is competing include swimming, squash, dart, scrabble, chess, draught, and table tennis.
