NSC Sets Dates for National Sports Federation Elections: Nomination Forms Now Available

The Electoral Committee of the National Sports Federation has announced the approved nomination form and election timelines for the forthcoming National Sports Federation Elections. The elections will cover 18 national sports federations, and the nomination forms are available for collection and submission from September 6th to 11th.

National Sports Federations, the national elections which are scheduled to take place on October 4th at MKO National Stadium will be conducted by the NSC will be conducting on the following 18 National Sports Federations: 1. Aquatics 2. Chess 3. Handball 4. Golf 5. Karate 6. Darts 7. Fives 8. Tennis 9. Wrestling 10. Wushu Kung Fu 11. Scrabble 12. Hockey 13. Badminton 14. Boxing 15. Taekwondo 16. Squash Rackets 17. Traditional Sports and 18. Deaf Sports.
Aspirants are expected to complete and return the form within the stipulated timeframe.
“All stakeholders are enjoined to adhere strictly to the guidelines, as the Electoral Committee remains committed to conducting free, fair, and transparent elections that will strengthen the growth and development of sports in Nigeria”, The statement advised.
