NIS Graduates 462 Officers of the 2nd Conversion, Upgrading Course
The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), has graduated 462 Officers who benefited from the second Conversion/ Upgrading exercise.
The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede who reviewed the Officers at the passing-out-parade, encouraged the graduands to cherish their new ranks by aligning with the commitment and dedication to duty.
He advised them to avoid anything that will tarnish the image of the service.
The Comptroller General also warned them against lobbying for posting or seeking favor for deployment.
He congratulated the graduands and thanked the sister agencies for mutual collaboration.
Speaking, The Commandant of the NIS Training School, CIS Ismail Hamis, thanked the Comptroller General for immense support and commitment toward training and re-training in the Service while enjoining the graduands to put in practice the training received for the enhancement of service delivery wherever they find themselves.
The event was witnessed by heads of Military, Paramilitary, Security and Response Agencies in Kano, representatives of traditional and religious bodies, and friends of the service in the ancient city of Kano.
