NiMet: MOST IMPACTFUL AVIATION AGENCY OF THE YEAR 2021

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has been recognised and awarded as the most impactful Agency of the year  2021 by the board and publishers of the Air Transport Quarterly magazine, a leading aviation industry publication.

The event which took place today at the conference hall of the NCAA Training school annex was attended by notable personalities,CEOs, Chief Executives and Stakeholders in the aviation industry.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Agency, the Director General/CEO of NiMet Prof. Mansur Bako Matazu disclosed that since his assumption in office, he has tried to align with the vision, mission and objectives of the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika and the Ministry of Aviation’s 7 point Road Map, one of which he said is the establishment of the Aviation University. Prof. Matazu thanked the organisers for the award and expressed appreciation for the award. Other recipients of the award include NCAT, NCAA, FAAN,AIB, NAMA, ARIK AIRLINE, KENYA AIRWAYS, AIR PEACE, AFRICA WORLD AIRLINES and notable individuals and Unions.
