NIMC Announces Successful Migration of Telcos to NINAuth Platform

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), has announced the successful migration of all telecommunications firms to the new National Identification Number (NIN) verification platform, NINAuth. According to Dr. Kayode Adegoke, Head of Corporate Communications at NIMC:

“This development marks a significant step forward in enhancing the security, efficiency, and user experience of NIN verification services.”

The NINAuth platform offers several benefits, including: Enhanced D data protection which gives control of personal data to the owners; Seamless verification which provides convenient and secure identity verification; Convenient Sign-on Access which allows easy access to services and Uninterrupted Services as Telecommunications firms can now provide uninterrupted verification services to their subscribers.

The Director of IT/IDD at NIMC, Engr. Lanre Yusuf, confirmed that all telecommunications firms have been successfully migrated, and uninterrupted verification services are being offered.

The public should therefore expect gunctional verification platforms, Any issues related to new SIM registration, SIM swap, SIM migration, and other services should be directed to the Telcos for immediate resolution.

 

Dr. Kayode Adegoke emphasized that this achievement demonstrates NIMC’s commitment to providing secure, efficient, and user-friendly digital identity services to Nigerians.
