Nigeria’s Weather Outlook for December 29-31, 2025: Sunny Skies Expected- NiMet

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has issued a weather outlook for the next three days, predicting sunny skies with patches of clouds and isolated thunderstorms with light rains in various parts of the country.

Regional Forecasts:

Northern Region: Sunny skies are expected throughout the forecast period, with a hazy atmosphere over parts of Borno, Yobe, and Jigawa states on Tuesday and slight dust haze on Wednesday.

Central Region: Sunny skies with a few patches of clouds are anticipated throughout the forecast period.

Southern Region: Sunny skies with patches of clouds and isolated thunderstorms with light rains are expected, particularly in Lagos, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, and other states.

Advisories:

NiMet has advised citizens to drive with caution under rain.

Airline operators should obtain airport-specific weather reports from NiMet
